When you drive through the small town of Elgin, Nebraska, near Norfolk, it’s hard to miss the collection of bells sitting next to the highway.

Jim Meis has been collecting bells for more than a half century, and as you listen to him describe and ring them, you hear the sound of history. Fred Knapp of NET News has more in our Signature Story.
