About this event
Description:
Randall Goodgame, a songwriter and recording artist based in Nashville, will perform A Slugs & Bugs Christmas Concert at New Covenant Community Church on Sunday, December 2 at 3:30pm. The concert features Christmas songs (some familiar, some new and some just plain silly) sung by Goodgame and the New Cov CREW Kids Choir, followed by Christmas cookies and crafts. The event is designed to help families kick off the Christmas season. All are welcome, and tickets are available now. Randall Goodgame writes and performs a unique blend of storytelling folk and blues music with a spiritual message of hope. He has written for many notable Christian recording artists including Caedmon’s Call and Jason Gray. In 2006 Goodgame and songwriter Andrew Peterson co-wrote a children’s album called Slugs & Bugs & Lullabies, including 2 songs that were later featured in the Veggie Tales series called The Wonderful Wizard of Ha’s. The success of Slugs & Bugs led to two more albums, including A Slugs & Bugs Christmas. To learn more about Randall Goodgame, visit www.randallgoodgame.com. A Slugs & Bugs Christmas Concert is a fun and funny show. Through song and silliness the audience is reminded of the joy of Christmas and the meaning of the holiday. Following the concert, kids can make their own Christmas crafts and all can enjoy homemade Christmas cookies and hot cocoa. Tickets are $4 for individuals or $10 for families.
