On Saturday, April 27, Lincoln Friends of Chamber Music will bring together science, photography, musical composition, performance and philanthropy to present “Time and the River,” live under the baton of composer Kurt Knecht. Nine UNL faculty members will perform an original work inspired by and incorporating visual images from the Platte Basin Timelapse project of photographers Michael Forsberg and Michael Farrell and their team. The performance begins at 7:30 pm at Kimball Hall on the UNL campus. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $5 for students. They are available in advance from Lied Center Ticket Office, 402-472-4747, (enter “lfcm”) or at the door.
