On Tuesday, 18 March, there will be a number of events at UNL focusing on women veterans and military service members. This will be of interest to those interested in the U.S. military, gender, women in combat, etc. At 7pm the Women in Combat panel will begin in the Nebraska Union Auditorium. The panel will include Brigadier General Wilma Vaught of the Women in Military Service Memorial in Arlington (www.womensmemorial.org), and four local Nebraska women veterans and military service members. Before the panel discussion, there will be a veterans and military service member resource fair from 4-7pm in the Nebraska Union. The resource fair includes community and campus resources and are useful for ALL veterans and military service members. Come see what UNL and Lincoln has to offer! Earlier in the day, the UNL ROTC program will also have an event with BGen Vaught titled "Honoring Women in Military Service" from 10-10:45am in the Nebraska Union Auditorium. All events are free and open to the public.
