Why does archeology matter? Randy Farmer, Director of the Pathfinder Education Program and Midwest Archeological Center alum, will discuss the value of educational partnerships with archeology in the National Park Service and reminisce on his time at MWAC. This public talk is part of a speaker series celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Midwest Archeological Center, a unit of the National Park Service based in Lincoln, Nebraska. This event is free and open to the public. Visitors to the Denney Federal Building must have a valid photo ID and pass through a security screening area. Limited visitor parking is available on the ground floor of the Federal parking garage at the corner of N Street and Centennial Mall.
