Description:
“Seek Justice. Love Mercy. Walk Humbly.” Micah 6:8 seems so simple, doesn’t it? What does justice and mercy look like in the year 2020? As we approach the most divisive election day in modern times, how do we respond to God’s call to practice justice? How do we truly show mercy to the unmerciful? How do we respond with kindness and humility to rampant anger and vitriol? As we grapple with these challenges, there is no better time to sing our faith together (virtually, of course). To borrow from the Center for Congregational Song’s mission statement: “the holy act of singing together shapes faith, heals brokenness, transforms lives, and renews peace.” Join our St. Paul musicians online on Sunday, November 1 at 4:00 p.m. for “Songs of Mercy and Justice” and be prepared to sing along!
