About this event
We know how hard it can be to find fun and educational activities for your children when school is not in session. We invite you and your kids to the Nebraska History Museum and watch history come to life at School's Out! When Lincoln Public Schools is not in session, we give you and your children the opportunity to experience Nebraska history through family-friendly activities, art, music, and reading. On November 27th, come to the Museum for our School's Out program featuring the History Nebraska children's book Major: A Soldier Dog. Major was a war dog who was trained at Fort Robinson in western Nebraska. Learn about his story, see artifacts from World War II, and meet our special guest, Finn the dog! Major: A Soldier Dog is available to purchase at the Museum Gift Shop and makes a great Christmas gift.
