The Old Avoca Schoolhouse in Avoca, Nebraska will be streaming on line “Scandinavian Workshops" for fiddlers, violists, cellists, basses, and mandolin players. The Workshop for those who consider themselves to be a fluent reader will be on Sunday, January 17, from 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM, US Central Time. Each participant (US residents only) will receive a copy of our “Scandinavian Sampler for Two”, written in the clef of their choice. This collection features 20 traditional tunes from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. During the Workshops, we will play and enjoy Scandinavian waltzes, polkas, ganglats, and polskas, etc. Pre-registration required. The fee for the “Scandinavian Workshop” is $25.00.
