The Lysander Piano Trio, recent recipient of an excellent review from The New York Times for its April appearance at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, will present the final concert of the
2013-14 season of Sheldon Friends of Chamber Music. The concert will be Saturday, May 31 at 8 pm at the Sheldon Museum of Art, north of 12th and R Streets, on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. It is expected to include works of Shostakovich, Schubert, Musto and Mendelssohn. Tickets are $25 for general admission and $5 for students. A pre-concert lecture on the musical program will begin at 7:30 pm. A reception will be held immediately following the concert.
