The Lincoln Youth Symphony celebrates Black History Month by performing works by African-American composers William Grant Still, George Walker and Duke Ellington. The concert also features Senior Soloist winner Sydney Maddox, who will perform the first movement of Eduardo Lalo’s Cello Concerto. The concert takes place on Sunday, Feb 17th, at Lincoln East High School auditorium at 3:00 PM. No admission fee is charged and the public is warmly invited to hear these talented young people perform.
