Humanities Nebraska is working with local, state, and national partners to offer a series of community conversations across the state this fall entitled "An Issue of Trust: Democracy and the Future of Journalism." The program series will offer the opportunity for the general public to engage in discussion with panels of renowned journalists in Kearney, Lincoln, Norfolk, North Platte, Omaha, and Scottsbluff/ Gering. Panelists will represent a variety of perspectives on the position of the news media in our society and how this relates to the state of American democracy, and will include local and regional voices as well as Pulitzer Prize winners and finalists.
