About this event
"Is Medical Marijuana Right for Nebraska?" Common ground exists, but lately it's been hard to find! The first in our series of Good Talks covering a wide variety of topics around the state is at 7pm on Thursday, October 17th when we'll build productive conversation around the issue of Medical Marijuana in Nebraska. This balanced discussion will include national groups working both for and against medical marijuana in our state. Matthew Schweich, Deputy Director of Marijuana Policy Project, supports initiatives that allow access to medical marijuana. Luke Niforatos, Chief of Staff for Smart Approaches to Marijuana, works to oppose the legalization of marijuana. This event is free but seating is limited so reserve yours today at! Limit of 4 tickets per person. If you've forgotten what it feels like to have a Good Talk, come join us for this one! This program is funded in part by Humanities Nebraska and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment.
