The Amphion String Quartet will open the 2013-14 series of Sheldon Friends of Chamber Music on Sunday, September 29 at 3 p.m. at a concert in memory of past-president Nelson Potter. The concert will be at the Sheldon Museum of Art on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, north of 12th and R Streets. Tickets are $25 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets for the four-concert season will be on sale for $80 for adults and $20 for students. A pre-concert lecture on the musical program begins at 2:30 p.m. The planned program includes works of Mendelssohn, Adés and Beethoven.
