Homestead National Monument of America is partnering with Nebraska Telecommunications Network (NET) to present Spring LIVE, April 20, 2019. Spring LIVE will welcome in Spring with a wide variety of activities promoting and celebrating citizen science involvement. The event will include various booths of local citizen science organizations. These booths will include information on the mission of each organization and the ways in which citizen scientists can participate. The event will feature speakers from local citizen science organizations and touch on PBS's 6 featured citizen science projects as well. There will be 3 nature walks through Homestead National Monument's restored prairie, and will include the multiple ways citizen scientists can get involved at Homestead National Monument of America. Spring LIVE will feature family friendly crafts and readings of children's books.
