About this event
Opening reception February 15, 2019 6pm – 8pm. The show continues Saturday February 16, gallery open 10am – 5pm, with an artist talk and painting demonstration from 1 – 3pm. Donate to Art for Everyone 501c3, for a chance to win one of the beautiful demonstration paintings. After 32 years Charles Baughman is very excited to be back in Omaha. Nationally recognized, Wichita based artist and educator Baughman creates beautiful landscapes full of energy and movement in his signature expressionist style; the beautiful colors of Monet meets the action painting of Pollock. Up close the works are abstract, but step back and the landscape revels itself in a midst the splatters and swirls of paint. Baughman's artwork is part of the Museum of Nebraska Art's permanent collection, as well as in several other private and corporate collections across the country.
