About this event
Pouncing on Plaster Pouncing on plaster is a centuries-old method of transferring a drawing to a plaster surface, ready for painting. In this class, learn how to make a plaster slab, approximately 12 x 9 x 1.5 inches. A second pre-made dry plaster slab will be provided for experimenting with the pouncing technique, and for painting your selected subject-matter with luminous liquid watercolors. For your subject, please bring images/photographs, e.g., a self-portrait, pictures of pets, designs, etc. Make sure your image fits well within the 12 x 9 inch format.
