About this event
Olive Emma Bucklin died at age 58, following ten years of progressive loss of physical and mental acuity and quality of life caused by Alzheimer’s Disease. Quilting became a creative refuge for Olive, who retained her love of fabric, color and texture, and her ability to visualize design. With help from her sister, Judy, Olive continued to quilt, even in her last year of life. “Olive’s Journey” represents the bonds of sisters, the persistence of creativity, and the power of beauty to sustain us even in the most debilitating circumstances. Cost: free with admission **We will be closed every Monday. For further inquiries, please send us an email at info@quiltstudy.org
