NEBRASKA NOW: Liz Vercruysse, The Deconstructed Tree, Ceramics July 13 – October 6, 2013Liz Vercruysse creates works that are “botanically inspired” and juxtaposes the man-made with the organic. In her first exhibition at MONA, Vercruysse incorporates six tissue-wrapped and painted maple trees with hand-made ceramic forms containing natural imagery alongside seeds and pods that are presented as carefully regarded specimens. Hours: Tuesday- Saturday 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. Sunday 1- 5 p.m., closed Mondays & major holidays Free & Open to the Public
