Description: 
A Nebraskan for fifty years, Lonnie was born in Omaha, graduated from UNO, and earned an MA from UNL in Cather Studies. She was a 15 year docent at Sheldon Art Museum, on the Board of Directors as Historian for eight years, and wrote the Centennial History of the Nebraska Art Association. She was a co-founder of the Statewide Touring Art Exhibition, and working with Sheldon Director George Neubert, served as Sheldon administrator of that program. Lonnie moved to Edina, Minnesota in 2012, and coordinating with the Museum of Nebraska Art, she is doing a comprehensive biographical study of Women Artists Linked to Nebraska Before 1945. FREE
