MARK’S ON THE CAMPUS St. Mark’s on the Campus Episcopal Church will host Artists on the Edge, a group show of visual works, as part of its ongoing Fine Arts Series during the month of August. The exhibition will debut with a First Friday reception from 5 pm to 7 pm on Friday, August 2. Light refreshments will be served and some of the artists will be present. The artwork will be on display at the church from 9 am to 3 pm on weekdays, and on Sunday mornings, during the month of August. St. Mark’s on the Campus is located at 1309 R Street. Artists on the Edge is a collaboration of CenterPointe and Lincoln Parks and Recreation. The program is free and open to both trained and untrained artists. The group meets at F Street Community Center and also at Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach. CenterPointe provides pivotal treatment, rehabilitation, and housing for homeless and low-income community members who are dealing with mental health and substance use issues. CenterPointe also provides a 24/7 Crisis Hotline for youth, adults and families experiencing thoughts of suicide or other mental health/substance use crisis. --30--
