18th Lincoln Arts Festival Features Unique Mix of Original Art The 18th Lincoln Arts Festival is returning to SouthPointe Pavilions at 27th and Pine Lake Road – Lincoln, Nebraska on Saturday, September 22 and Sunday, September 23, 2018. Ninety-plus artists from across Nebraska and across the nation will be showing and selling a variety of original art pieces in styles and prices to suit all tastes and budgets. Live music from bands featured at Lincoln Calling will appear on the Southeast Community College World Entertainment Stage at the festival. New in 2018, a display of Student Art work will be shown in Barnes & Noble Book Store, which is also hosting a benefit book fair for the Lincoln Arts Council. Festival food plus free art activities in the Creative Zone add to the energy of this community event. For the first time, there will be a free yoga class at the festival on Sunday morning, and chair massages by a chiropractor both Saturday and Sunday. Come early for a good stretch, then be the first to visit the artist booths! Admission is a suggested donation of $1 at the gate for ages 12 and up. Festival Hours: Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm; Sunday 10 am to 5 pm. Lincoln’s largest juried art show is produced each year by The Lincoln Arts Council, a private nonprofit whose mission is Championing the Arts, Connecting People, Changing LIves.
