Watch ‘Backyard Farmer’ on Tuesdays This Season Starting March 17

LINCOLN, Neb. (March 3, 2015) – Warm up this month with the start of “Backyard Farmer” on a new night this season.

The perennial place to go for all things gardening, the NET Television series will premiere at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, on NET. It will repeat at 3 p.m. Saturdays on NET.

Host for the “Backyard Farmer” series is Kim Todd, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension horticulture specialist. Panelists specialize in such areas as horticulture, plant pathology, turf grass management, landscape design and entomology.

“Backyard Farmer” is Nebraska’s – and the worlds through its online and mobile presence – place to go for all things gardening. It is the longest-running, locally-produced television show in the country.
