‘Omaha Maverick Hockey’ Live on NET Jan. 6 and 21

LINCOLN, Neb. (Dec. 22, 2016) – NET is the home for “Omaha Maverick Hockey” with two games broadcast live from the Baxter Arena ice in January.

The Omaha Mavericks and the North Dakota Fighting Hawks square of at 7 p.m. CT, Friday, Jan. 6, on NET.

Calling the live action will be Dave Ahlers, UNO Assistant Athletic Director, Communications, with color commentary provided by David Brisson, former UNO hockey standout. Larry Punteney will provide rink-side reports.

“Omaha Maverick Hockey” will also air live on NET when the Mavericks play the Miami of Ohio RedHawks at 7:30 p.m. CT, Saturday, Jan. 21.

All “Omaha Maverick Hockey” matches will be streamed live at netNebraska.org or visit the NET App on mobile devices.
