NET’s ‘Speaking of Nebraska’ Series Starts Feb. 15

LINCOLN, Neb. (Feb. 1, 2018) – “Speaking of Nebraska” returns to NET with insightful discussion on important issues for Nebraskans.

The weekly 30-minute news discussion program airs for eight weeks at 8:30 p.m. CT, Thursdays, starting Feb. 15 through April 19 on NET.

“Speaking of Nebraska” will engage viewers’ minds with expert interviews about issues such as the economy, environment, government, agriculture and more.

NET News producers/reporters Mike Tobias, Grant Gerlock and Bill Kelly will rotate as hosts/producers for the series.

Each episode will feature Unicameral updates from NET News Legislative Reporter Fred Knapp, as well as “Nebraska 150 History Moments” which share a bit of Nebraska history.

“Speaking of Nebraska” will also air on radio every Friday at 6:30 p.m. CT, followed by “Fresh Air.”
