NET Showcases PBS KIDS Series ‘Let’s Go Luna!’ During Cultural Connect Week

NET, Nebraska’s PBS & NPR Station, will screen episodes of the PBS KIDS series “Let’s Go Luna!” and share family friendly learning activities Tuesday, Nov. 12, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Hastings Museum. The free event is part of Cultural Connect Week in Hastings, celebrating the diversity of the city.

Learning activities begin at 6 p.m., and “Let’s Go Luna!” will be shown at 6:30 p.m. in the museum theater. The first 200 attendees will receive a free slice of pizza.

“Let’s Go Luna!” follows the worldwide adventures of three friends – Leo, a wombat from Australia; Carmen, a butterfly from Mexico; and Andy, a frog from the U.S. – as they traverse the globe with their parents’ traveling performance troupe. At each of the stops, Luna the Moon guides the trio as they get to know the local region and its people.

“Let’s Go Luna!” airs weekdays at 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on NET. Visit pbskids.org/luna to watch episodes and play games associated with the series.
