Back-to-Back Volleyball Airs in September on NET

LINCOLN, Neb. (Aug. 23, 2018) – NET, Nebraska’s PBS & NPR Stations, will air two nights of volleyball in September.

“Nebraska vs. Creighton Volleyball” will air Thursday, Sept. 6. The Creighton Bluejays match against the defending national champion Nebraska Huskers will be broadcast at 7 p.m. CT, live from the CHI Health Center in Omaha. Creighton’s record was 26-7 last season while Nebraska’s was 32-4.

Calling the live action will be Larry Punteney alongside analyst & former Husker volleyball player, Kathi Wieskamp. Nancy Metcalf, former All-American and Olympian, will give the sideline report.

A second night of volleyball Friday, Sept. 7 will find the Creighton Bluejays facing off against the Iowa State Cyclones. The action will start at 6 p.m. CT, live from D.J. Sokol Arena in Omaha. Calling the live action will be Punteney and Wieskamp.
