Annual ‘Nebraska Shrine Football Classic’ Broadcast on NET

LINCOLN, Neb. (May 18, 2018) – Nebraska’s best players from the high school class of 2018 will put on their cleats again when its North vs. South in the “Nebraska Shrine Football Classic,” airing at 2 p.m. CT, Saturday, June 2, on NET, Nebraska’s PBS & NPR Stations.

The 60th annual football match-up is broadcast live from Foster Field at the Ron and Carol Cope Stadium on the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus with Larry Punteney calling the play-by-play, Damon Benning providing color commentary and Sean Callahan with sideline reports.

Head coach for the North team will be Michael Huffman of Bellevue West, with Kyle Peterson of Aurora High School leading the South team.

The annual gridiron event can be streamed live at or on the NET App.
