Annual 'Nebraska Shrine Football Classic' Broadcast on NET Television

LINCOLN, Neb. (May 22, 2017) – Nebraska’s best high school athletes from the class of 2017 will dust off their cleats and prepare for North vs. South action during the annual “Nebraska Shrine Football Classic”, airing at 2 p.m. CT, Saturday, June 3, on NET.

The annual football match-up is broadcast live from Foster Field at the Ron & Carol Cope Stadium at the University of Nebraska at Kearney with sportscaster Larry Punteney calling the play by play, former Husker Damon Benning providing color commentary and former Husker Blake Lawrence with sideline reports.

Leading the charge for the North team will be Mark Hudson of Boone Central, with Matt Turman of Omaha Skutt leading the opposing South team.
