David Wessel, economics editor for the Wall Street Journal and pens a weekly column, "Capital" that examines the economy and forces that shape living standards around the world.
He is a regular contributor on National Public Radio and WETA's Washington Week and wrote the Financial Times Business Book of the Year 2009 finalist, "In Fed We Trust: Ben Bernanke's War on the Great Panic." The book was also selected as one of the "Most Notable Books of 2009" by The New York Times.
