NET News: Mind Over Murder – Full Program
May 6, 2010
When police prepare a search warrant, they often are not just looking for the hard evidence that a crime was committed like fingerprints and a weapon, but evidence that sheds light on the mind of the criminal. Students in the Masters of Forensic Science Program at Nebraska Wesleyan University are taught how to prepare a search warrant using analysis of the behavior of the suspect and the victim. The exercise is based a real life case of kidnapping and torture that unfolded in Wayne, Nebraska.
