Work by artist Russell Floersch is being featured in the secondary gallery of the Jackson Dinsdale Art Center (JDAC) at Hastings College. The exhibition, titled “Ex Situ,” is open February 8 through March 12.
The JDAC gallery is at 700 E. 12th Street in Hastings, and is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Face masks are required inside the JDAC and the gallery’s capacity is limited.

The Old Avoca Schoolhouse in Avoca, Nebraska will be streaming “Irish Workshop: O’Carolan Tunes”, for folks who play violin/fiddle, viola, cello, bass, mandolin, and soprano recorder.
The Workshops will be on Tuesday, March 9, 7 PM - 8 PM, US Central Time, and Wednesday March 10, 10 AM - 11 AM, US Central Time.
Each participant (US residents only) will receive a copy of our “O’Carolan Fiddle Tunes for Two”, written for the instrument of their choice.

Mee-Hwa Roche, viola, plays Gustav Holst’s Lyric Movement for viola and small orchestra, and India Enter, cello, plays Antonio Vivaldi’s Cello Concerto in A minor, RV 421. The winner of the Graduate Solo Competition, Sanda Mašic, flute, will be featured on an upcoming UNLSO concert in Fall 2021.
