Nadia Boulanger said, “I’ve been a woman for a little over 50 years and have gotten over my initial astonishment. As for conducting an orchestra, that’s a job where I don’t think sex plays much part.” Hear performances from women on the podium, leading the way.

Feminine Fusion - "Plucked"

Guitarist Sharon Isbin says, “Music takes people out of this world and into another where hopefully they can experience the emotions of joy and sadness and nostalgia.” This week, it’s plucked music – works for guitar, harp, and harpsichord.
