Conductor House Call

Connecting and engaging with music and musicians we love across Nebraska, Conductor House Call airs each Monday at 9:30am CT, featuring conductors of note in our state.

The COVID-19 pandemic has kept people from gathering together to do things we need and want to do--including making music. Since audiences currently can't get out to concert halls to hear live music, NET Radio will deliver the conductors and the music they bring alive to you! It's a house call from your conductor.

Our first episode was Monday April 27 with Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra Music Director Ed Polochick. He'll join us again along with other Nebraska conductors of note. Listen for house calls from the following:

  • May 18 - Alison Gaines with UNK and Kearney Symphony Orchestra
  • May 25 - Memorial Day with Ed Polochick from Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra
  • June 1 - Ed Polochick chooses Rachmaninov
  • June 8 - Alison Gaines calls again for Barber's Knoxville, Summer 1915
