NET Communications professionals took top national honors for the promotion campaign "Great Plains: America's Lingering Wild" in the NETA (National Educational Telecommunications Association) awards competition. Communications team members are Kristi Koser, M.J. Winquest, Larry Kubert and Diana Fujan.
NET earned 10 awards from the Nebraska Broadcasters Association recently, including: NET News/Radio "Putting Unused Retail Space to Work" by Jackie Sojico; "Companies Increasingly Look Beyond Profit Margins" by Hilary Stohs-Krause; "Marijuana Crossroads" by Bill Kelly; "Arrested for Playing Baseball" by Bill Kelly; for NET News/Television "Changing Lands, Changing Hands" by Grant Gerlock, Mike Tobias and Ryan Robertson; "Nebraska Stories: Keeping it Grand" by Michele Wolford, Christine Lesiak, and Kay Hall; for NET Connect "Now What: Dementia Types and Diagnosis" by Penny Costello; for NET Television "Nebraska Stories: Miracle on the Prairie" by Kay Hall; for NET Sports "Big Red Wrap-Up: Team Jack" by Jim Carmichael, Kay Hall and Joe Turco; and for the website.

Nebraskans can be very proud of their statewide public broadcasting network.  NET is one of the most honored producers of exceptional public service Television and Radio broadcasting in the nation.
