Rethinking Rural Retirement

The economic downturn has changed retirement plans for many Americans. 401k's and jobs have been cut by the thousands. NPR's Howard Berkes has been reporting on the impact of the recession on retirement in rural America for the series "Rethinking Retirment" on NPR's All Things Considered. He says, for rural factory workers, making up for lost investments and lost jobs can be more difficult than in other parts of the country.
