New exhibit "We the People" explores civil rights in Nebraska

A new exhibit at the Museum of Nebraska History in Lincoln traces the history of Civil Rights in the state. It's called "We The People: A Nebraska Viewpoint." NET Radio's Jerry Johnston talked with the exhibit's lead researcher, John Carter of the Nebraska Historical Society. Carter started by describing a single item that started him thinking about the exhibit.
