Carl Kasell's has been the calm and authoritative voice of the news on Morning Edition since it launched in 1979. After 30 years, he's giving up the headlines, but he'll still be around to keep score on NPR's news quiz, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. Grant Gerlock talks with Kasell about morning news and how Wait Wait reminds him of how radio was done when he was young.
