The University of Nebraska Lincoln officially opens the new home of its Physics Department, Jorgensen Hall, on Friday. The building is named for Ted Jorgensen who was a researcher on the Manhattan Project, which built the first atomic bomb, before building UNL's high-energy particle physics program. As Grant Gerlock reports, before Jorgensen Hall, physics researchers at UNL were spread among 3 buildings on campus.
