Lincoln Electrical System is hosting a public meeting for customers interested in taking part in its new electric vehicle study. The meeting will take place at the Walter A. Canney Service Center from 6-7 pm Thursday, August 16, in Lincoln.

The study was announced at the July meeting and stems from the utility’s 2017 Integrated Resource Plan. It is focused on the future of electric vehicles in Lincoln and would include the impacts of installing more electric vehicle charging.

Any LES customers who own or lease an all-electric or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle are eligible to join the study. Participants can earn up to two $25 credits on their electric bills at the beginning and end of the study.

Just a reminder, the meeting is open to the public Thursday, August 16 from 6-7 pm at the Walter A. Canney Service Center at 2620 Fairfield St.
