Body of missing man recovered at Pawnee Lake

The body of a man killed in a tubing accident on Pawnee Lake over the weekend has been recovered.
The accident occurred on Friday. The body of 31-year-old Travis Wilkins of Lincoln was recovered on Saturday evening. An autopsy will be conducted, according to Nebraska Game and Parks.
Another man and a 4-year-old were also on the tube when it capsized, but were able to swim to shore. Only the 4-year-old was wearing a life jacket.
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission urged those planning to visit the lake this summer to wear a life jacket, avoid alcohol and be aware of their surroundings.
