Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt visited Nebraska Friday.

Participants in a meeting with Pruitt held at the governor’s mansion said he talked about his agency’s rollback of Obama Administration policies, including the Waters of the US rule and the Clean Power Plan.

Pruitt also discussed his move to end what he described as a “sue and settle” policy, under which environmental groups would sue the EPA and the agency would settle by enacting new regulations outside the regular processes.

Pruitt’s visit was not listed on Gov. Pete Ricketts' public schedule. A Ricketts spokesman said that’s because only public events are listed.
